Title:  Purrlock Holmes and the Case of the Missing Treasure

Author:  Betty Sleep

Publisher:  Felinity Publishing

Reviewer: Nan Mahon Ė AAA member

A cat's point of view!

Cat lovers will follow Purrlock, a Birman cat, and his sidekick, Watson, a Basset Hound, as they roam the nocturnal neighborhood to solve the Case of the Missing Treasure.

The story, told from the point of view of the feline, is part of a series of tales geared toward an audience of young adults. Itís whimsical romp with enterprising animals and their family. The encounters with other dogs and even a dog ghost blends into a mystery that is resolved when the cat helps her girl-owner step up to help a woman she loves.

Itís a quick, amusing read that catches the imagination of the young and maybe a few adults as well.
