Title:  Odd and Unusual Tales From the Old West

Author:  Alton Pryor

Publisher:  Stagecoach Publishing

Reviewer: W. H. McDonald, Jr. – AAA Founder

Another Classic History Book From Alton Pryor!

For those readers fortunate to live in northern California they have no doubt already have been exposed to some of the best written little history books in the USA. Author Alton Pryor has been putting out great local and western history books for years. It is hard to go into any historic little town or city in parts of the west that you will not find some of his books. This particular book “Odd and Unusual Tales From the Old West” he takes on a bigger area and covers most all of the western states.

You will discover a treasure trove of stories (tales) that you have never heard before. The book makes history both refreshing and exciting. It is easy to read (like all of his books) and is just good entertainment. This book will appeal to hard core historian types as well as high school students. This book has everything from Indians and cowboys to Ford Mustangs!
