Author Phillip N. Hancock, Sr. creates a thrilling, frightening and nightmarish story that crosses several genre lines with time travel, mystery, the mystical and crime, in his well written novel “A Path Not Chosen.” It is not your standard fare in crime books, nor will you have read anything like this before—it is an original and it is entertaining!

Hancock takes the ultimate fear that all parents and grandparents have of having a child kidnapped and makes it a story that is so much more then just the crime. This book explores the hearts and souls of those involved and weaves us a storyline that captures the reader’s attention and will not allow you to put down the book until you find out what will happen next.

Hancock has shown he has huge talent and good word skills but he has also shown a creative imagination that is second to none. One certainly gets the feeling that this is just the first of many more stories within this man’s head that will some day be put into another fine novel. This was a fully satisfying reading experience.
