ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Karl L. Kruger was born in Wheaton, Minnesota, a small town with a population of approximately 1,500 in the heartland of America. He currently lives in San Diego with his wife of seventeen years, their two children, and three very spoiled cats.

Pajo, his first book, has been awarded the 2007 American Author’s Association’s Golden Quill Award for Fantasy. He has also been awarded the 2007 San Diego Book Awards Association Best Young Adult & Children’s Fiction, 2007 Reader Views Best Children's 7 and Older Fiction and Best Fantasy (Honorable Mention), and 2007 Beach Book Festival Best Children's Fiction (Honorable Mention).
